Has Benidorm got many hotels? Well, it's quite incredible, but this relatively small town of just thirty-seven square kilometres boasts more hotel stars than the whole of Greece. Benidorm's skyscraper hotels

Benidorm is sometimes referred to as the "Manhattan of the Costa Blanca" owing to its overwhelming number of skyscraper hotels and apartment blocks! Fortunately, however, the buildings in Benidorm have not been built shoulder-to-shoulder, as is the case in New York. In actual fact, by law, any given multi-storey construction may only occupy 30 per cent of any given plot thus allowing each one to stand individually letting sun and light to reach all four sides of the building during the day.
