In general, prices in Benidorm for certain things are cheaper than in the UK. On a leisure front it is easy to find cheap drinks in the bars and pubs, however, beware as prices do tend to go up slightly in the clubs that offer entertainment or waiter service.

When it comes to eating out, meals usually work out at about €15-20 per person, but you may find that some of the beachfront establishments charge a little more.

Currency

Spain's official currency is the Euro (EUR). One Euro is divided into 100 cents. Money can be exchanged at banks, hotel receptions and official bureau de change offices.

Other ways to pay

Major credit cards and traveller's cheques are accepted at most hotels, restaurants, and shops. ATMs are widespread in Benidorm and are generally the cheapest and most convenient method of obtaining money.
